{ THE EXTERMINATOR HERE'S THE MORAL TO THE STORY; WE DON'T DO IT FOR THE GLORY
| THE BASICS! FULL NAME: HANDLE: The Exterminator AGE & DOB: 30 (ish) / 14 October, 198- POSITION: Sometime assassin, demolitions/explosives, "mascot" BIRTHPLACE: Moscow, Russia KNOWN FAMILY: [redacted] | ||
APPEARANCE! We don't do it for the money, we don't do it for the fame To all appearances, the Exterminator doesn't really look much like an assassin; he's utterly ordinary looking, neither big and impressive nor compact and deadly. A skulker and lurker by nature, he often seems to appear from nowhere, with little advance warning for his entrances and exits. He's seldom seen without a rat in tow, which he's usually more likely to engage in conversation than any people nearby.
PERSONALITY! So all the critics who despise us, go ahead and criticize us The Fraternity is a harsh taskmaster; once they get their claws in you it's a constant rush of training, learning to control the blips in physics, learning the skills, the tools. Learning to endure, to inflict, to kill. They break you down then build you back up, better, faster, more capable, and once they have you there's no escape. Only...you're never the same when they're finished. Improved, yes, there's never any doubt about that. A killer? Absolutely. But who you were before is carved away, the rest of it molded to adapt. And not everyone handles the process well. What's left of the Exterminator is a bundle of good cheer and pyromania, a preoccupation with small furry creatures and blowing them, and anything else handy, up. He's a good assassin, he is, he just...has a problem taking out the target without creating collateral damage; he likes watching things go "boom". And he's a little sketchy on the "finality of death" thing. Consequently he doesn't get targets much, not unsupervised, anyway. Fascination with destruction aside, he's inherently a very moral, caring person, in his own way, and loyal to a fault; once he's decided you're worthy, he would do just about anything for you. He befriended Cross before he defected, and stuck by him even afterwards, despite the spin Sloane gave it, because he knew Cross was in the right. It's why he befriended Wesley when he was recruited; the son of a friend is practically a friend already by association, and he figured the least he could do was help him out once he started to put the pieces together. [need to finish...eventually. When I have a brain to myself]
